The church has a great collection of both adult non-fiction and fiction and children’s books. The library also has a collection of videos and audio cassettes and CD’s. The library non-fiction books are cataloged using the Dewey Decimal Classification System. Adult fiction books are classified “F” and the first 3 letters of the authors last name. Books for children are divided in two categories: “E” for picture books and easy reading books for very young children, and “J” for books for new readers through high school aged books. Some books for youth are in the adult non-fiction section. The library as some board books that are cataloged, but are shelved in the preschool Sunday School room, instead of the library.
Books and audio materials can be checked by signing the card in the back of the book and leaving the card. They are due whenever you finish the book.
There is a card catalog where books can be looked up be authors, titles or subjects. Come in and browse the shelves sometime after church.
