The Reverend Dr. James A. Moran

Jim received his B.S. degree from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina and, feeling God’s call to the ministry, continued to Columbia Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity in 1985 and was ordained into the ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Jim, a Georgia native, has previously served three churches in Alabama and East Tennessee. In 2003, Jim received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary. Jim enjoys fellowship and friendship with the HPC church family and has a passion for preaching and teaching God’s word with humor and depth.
